Thank you for your letter dated 1st June. I assume that you received my e-mail at about the same time.
It seems strange to us that you have missed our main point, as written in our letter and my recent e-mail to you, namely that we want to go though with our agreement that the division shall happen in one step only, so that we get a separate "gårds- og bruksnummer" immediately.
We still consider this agreement to be valid, and as we have stated in every correspondence we have had with you about this, we will only consider a division in two stages if the current agreement, made in your office, in the presence of yourself, Erik Selvig and our legal advisor Mr Atle
Berentsen, and us, should prove to be for some reason impossible to go through with.
We still cannot see that we have received any documentation showing that this change in our agreement is necessary. Atle Berentsen was, shortly after the
agreement was made, assured by Inger-Anne Cederstrøm in Plan og Bygningsetaten that there should be no hindrance to going through with this.
In order that the matter can be resolved as efficiently as possible, I invite you to call me by telephone with any query that you may have.

Thank-you for our recent telephone conversation, I am writing to enquire as to whether you have had a chance to discuss the matter with Erik Selvig yet, and to briefly summerise what we discussed.
As I mentioned, we are also eager that a resolution can happen as soon as possible. As we agreed at our previous meeting with you, we would like the divisions to happen at the same time and we still cannot see any reason why this is now impossible, as we have not received any documentation to explain this change from our agreement.
If this change from our agreement can be reasonably explained to us, we are not adverse to the two divisions taking place separately, but in either case we will require, confirmation of the following:
1. As agreed, that we will not incur any financial costs, practical or legal, as a result of the divisions, or the future development of the site.
2. That we may be allocated a private parking space, as also agreed upon in our meeting.
3. and most importantly, that the second stage of the division, if it cannot happen at the same time as the first (as previously agreed) shall happen immediately after the first division. With time limits laid out in some practical manner.
In our telephone conversation, you expressed to me that these requirements did not seem unreasonable, and sympathized with our concerns that without these written assurances from you, and the matter resolved quickly, we feel that our property stands in a difficult and un-sellable position. For this reason we hope that you can see why we would still prefer to proceed with the divisions at the same time as per our original agreement, unless it is absolutely impossible.
